On 22nd March there may be some issues contacting the Fortress via email. We are moving our email server from the Netherlands to Switzerland.

The reason for the move to Switzerland is that the Netherlands is part of the EU, and therefore bound by the EU data retention directive, which requires Internet service providers to keep records of their users Internet activity. Obviously US based email hosting has always been out of the question.

The legal framework in Switzerland, which is independent of the EU, is one of the most privacy oriented in the world and I am happy to be able to continue to offer that additional layer of protection and privacy to Fortress clients.
