I've always thought that I good at good at distinguishing accents. Sometimes I like to guess whether or not an actor (on the big moving-pictures-box) is hiding their native accent.
I've correctly guessed that Andrew Lincoln (Sheriff's Deputy on The Walking Dead), Rose Byrne (Ellen Parsons on Damages) and Charlie Hunnam (Jackson aka Jax on Sons of Anarchy) were all faking an American accent.

Exactly. You make such a good and simple explanation. It IS such a comforting feeling to be able to express the true about one's self. I try to do that as much as I can. It is beneficial to both myself and others, and hopefully to you too!
Holding back on the truth, in any case, is basically a lie and that is always the most destructive thing any kind of relationship. To me, those few hours we have actually translate to a lot more positivity on the outside in most situations.
Honestly, a long time back, I might have considered you to sort of freaky in a negative way, but now I see you as nothing less than very "normal" and so definitely positive.

I couldn't agree more eighter. Forget things society says. They are often meaningless and "proof" is that social ideas are always changing, circular, and often contradicting. When you are with someome, you want them to know and react to "you" not who they think you are. With the reverse being true. Then it is a real and satisfying connection.
For what it's worth, I didn't get laid until 23. But it doesn't really matter--what's more important is to figure out who you are and to embrace it. All the milestones society might attribute to maturing are nothing compared to honesty with who you really are.

It's a particularly important distinction to know what you feel like after a session. I definitely can vouch for that energized feeling after certain sessions that feel very synergetic and connected. And of course, after some sessions I'm drained and braindead because of the energy vampism during the session.

Your point about feeling "drained" and "braindead" is something that I left out. Although, I feel the intense focus and energy during and after such a session, there is a period of time I am "braindead" for a while.
As I settle down, I continue to feel the energy ans especially the connection at a more normal level, and that connective seems permanent from then on.
I guess I was just saying the same thing but with less detail, however it's interesting and important to describe that part of it.

To me, i have felt very special connections. I don't always feel one with anyone, but that depends on two things. First on myself. I need to be
"mindfulness", which mZhao mentioned. In that state, I am sensing a persons spirit, being open to anything. Without this, I would miss any opportunity to see into the other person.
The next depends on the other person. I may sense that I just cannot feel the person "being with me" at the moment. if I do and can relate to the other, I feel a very strong connection. It is at moment that time does not matter. Two of us are in contact, validating each others being and experience with each other. enjoying and perhaps learning from each, without any doubt of what is being heard is what is meant. A great amount of energy and contentment envelopes me. It is a very good feeling knowing you are really with someone who understands you.
There are times, when the opposite occurs. Although I was open and mindful, i was having dinner with someone. I would talk, she would talk, but I dont think any of us "heard" anything.
it almost seemed I could have walked away, let someone else take my place, and the other person would have continued as usual with her conversation as if nothing changed!
At fortress sessions, I find that there is always an exchange of openness with those I've been with, which always makes for a great session. However, the complete special connections i mentioned, seem to occur in a particular or particular mistresses. ...and these are always extra special and i am spiritually energized afterwords, in fact the energy and connection seem are always with me for good.

Men and women are more alike than most will admit to. Sapiosexual or otherwise, all attraction starts with physicality.
I was recently thinking about that for some reason. I definitely agree on the first sentence, but it matters to what degree. Many attributes are pretty much the same, but some are very different. One important one is how emotion is handled, Women to me handle it much better and are stronger in that way than men. Another is physical attractiveness is not as important for a woman as a man (also a matter of degree only). Also, the ability to nurture. just to name a few.
Just to note...i think all the mistresses i've seen at the fortress are very nurturing.
As far as the second point, I also agree. However, in time, the attraction will either fade or get stronger depending on other characteristics such as intellect, life philosophy, humor, and many other things that will make you able to relate, understand, and be compatible.
I'm just saying this, not that I know it for a fact, but is based on my experience with people, and so is what I believe.

My experiences are very similar, Wayne.
Not being a pain slut myself, I rely more on the other senses in the brain to activate and like "rest my brain" but I would say more "divert my brain" into thinking and feeling in new ways. The end result being a rested brain,....with a few sore spots.
Manpeach, I agree, since to me that is the same thing. Diverting the brain into a different way of thinking, is putting the brain at rest. since that "new way of thinking and feeling" is passive and is of contentment. I do share the opposite of you about the flesh and spirit. i believe the flesh has no influence on the spirit (just the brain) and the spirit controls everything. you can have a spirit with no body, but not have a body without a spirit. Also, I believe you always had, have, and will have your spirit exist.
(maybe i'm thinking too much of this and should practice writing short sappy poetry to rest my brain)

I believe that we have a certain chemisty that permits your brain to rest so that you can be hyper-present in our time together. I see this as a pre-requesite for this altered state to follow; complete and implicit trust. And when you allow your active brain to take a rest, it's a lot like putting yourself in a meditative or even hypnotic state where afterward, the brain comes back awake and feels rejuvenated.
Perhaps I just paraphrased everything you just said, but in short, I agree!
Your response validates my thinking and I can go on for a long time on subjects like this. Sometimes it's hard to find many people to deeply discuss matters like this. I just wanted to add that I left out the spirit part of this, which i believe is the most important part! I feel that through the body and the mind , the spirit of one can communicate itself to the spirit of the other. If the two spirits can relate well to each other, another conciousness is created, consisting a space where both of our spirits reside and nothing else. With the element of trust, our spirits are at peace and enriched by each other.

After taking a gander at this article, I realize I definitely have an altered conciousness while in a session. There is complete focus on what only what we both are doing and feeling and nothing else at all. This seems to to come from contributions of the sensuality, sexiness, pain, even humor, and the trust between us. It really is like a meditative state where I can "rest my brain" and not be concerned of anything else. Afterwords, I always have a feeling of contentment and energy.Take a gander at this article:

Mistress Fei, this is an interesting topic. Here is what I feel.Q1 - I totally agree with freuds statement.
i consider most neurotic behavior comes from an insecurity in a part of ourselves. If one were insecure in a relationship, he may become neurotic in overly communicating with the other person to get assurance. if one is insure with his health one may consistantly go to many doctors for different conditions to make sure all is ok. However these are examples of illogical thinking. They should be acknowledged, confronted, but need to be corrected, not keep acting them out. This will lead to a more whole life.
For fetishes, on the other hand, which is the real question, they should also be acknowledged and confronted. However, they should NOT be repressed as Freud said, because fetishes are not illogical thoughts or feelings , as opposed to my earlier examples. This will avoid the anxiety of not meeting your needs, leading to another insecurity of not ever being the whole person you are. Of course, the expression of the fetished would have to be done in a proper way. Now the person will be neurotic free. (of at least this one). To sum it up, yes I agree with Freud on this one.
Q2 - without exploring BDSM, I would be ok, but not all i could be not be in relationships with others, as well as my own self, emotionally.
Q3 - Exploring has been very helpful and therapeutic. It provided more meaning relationships and understanding of myself and of others.

anubis, that is excellent creativeness mixed with description of what we do at the fortress. Funny and true at the same time. One point I have to make. Can you think of a special space for Emma Ree? The fortress experience would'nt be complete without her!Here is an update of the board and also the money and a property card. The board is pretty much complete but I might still make some changes. I have also done a version of the board in 4 sections so they can be printed on A4/Letter size paper and then put together.
