Chris89
I don't post much on the forums, but this hit a personal note. I have always considered the UK trailblazer in BDSM. Caning and childhood corporeal punishment in UK schools during the 18 and 1900s created a bit of a cultural phenomenon that I always though brought BDSM closer to the mainstream. In the age of information, the UK birthed some of the first BDSM porn sites and has a large established private session BDSM network (if you know where to look). In my mid teenage years I thought of my strange fantasies as weird and unnatural, but before long I found three particular UK BDSM sites that reaffirmed that there are many out there like me. It caused me to explore further and discover the fortress and other independents I have formed lasting connections with. It has also spiced up my love life with signifigant others by strengthening my confidence while being kinky with flings and GFs (although the serious stuff has always been kept to the fortress). This is why it now saddens me and hits a little personal to see this happen http://uproxx.com/webculture/2014/12/uk-banned-sex-acts/ I didn't really realize how serious this was until I went to the original two ballbusting and facesitting sites I frequented years ago as a teenager only to find they have shutdown in light of this new law. This is not progress. This is repression. I only hope that this does not gain momentum and cause similar legislation else ware.
