Plants Scream !

Can you hear the plants scream

when I cut off their heads with my mower?

Or the wailing of panicked young'n

when I drop my blade a notch lower?

 

For those who don't conform

I have a special brew.

One that is so toxic,

It would even kill me and you.

 

I spray it on their bodies,

their death is long and slow.

Only a pale whimpered cry

as I chop them with my hoe.

 

I am not without a heart

I will fertilize and sow.

I'll water when they're thirsty,

nor grub treatment will I forgo.

 

And when they're standing tall

lush, green and healthiest,

I do it all over again for,

I am the 'Lawn Sadist' !
