According to the story Aristotle had warned Alexander the Great against the advances of Phyllis. Out of revenge she charmed him onto all fours and proceeded to demonstrate her superiority by riding him about as a pony.

  8. You might enjoy reading (if you haven't already) Tanazaki's "Seven Jananese Tales" especially "A Portrain of Shunkin" or "Naomi." Both deal with female domination in a sometimes subtle, yet always romantic fashion.
