  1. I had a thought, Bradley. I've done switch sessions with her, though of course it's verboten to bruise her beautiful skin. But she would let me hit her hard with several implements because they were unlikely to cause bruises: the flogger and padded paddle. Most likely she was using these to avoid bruising you. I can say using a flogger hard is quite satisfying while on top, and she may well have been receiving the satisfaction you wanted her to have.

So next time let her flog you as she wills, and don't worry so much. Different skin has different sensitivity, but no doubt her professional eye will let her bring you to the edge while still giving you what she wants.

  2. If you are in a relationship and trying to stay discreet I can understand no bruises.

Otherwise they are an exotic souvenier that actually provides a warm tingly feeling when you see them, remembering who gave them to you. it's not difficult letting yourself go with these wonderful young ladies.

  3. Thanks for the insights, all. I rather feel that SM is clearer to navigate than the vanilla scene, where I have still to crack the mystery code of picking women up in bars! Too many unwritten rules and panic buttons, while in SM things by necessity are better defined.

Rollo - I think you nailed it for me: the closer to the vanilla world the more things will conform to social stereotypes, almost by definition. And yes, the female posterior is truly a heavenly artifact.

  4. I think you are indeed seeing things through femdom eyes. At the spanking parties I've been to the split is roughly 75/25 by sex. On the internet spanking dating sites it seems to be more like 90/10. Popular literature swings the same way: the pulp romance novels conform to the stereotype for a reason - a bigger market. Sorry, but my generalization stands.

I think the FF is successful because it provides something much harder to find in everyday life than the male dom/female sub pattern. Do the math: if my 75/25 estimation is correct, the chances of a couple matching up both the smaller percentages is only 1 out of 16. The market arises from numerical frustration.

I left switches out. Complicates the math slightly but you can throw it in a 3x3 table and get the probabilities for all combinations.

Not sure where you read me to say female (or male) submissives are not strong. It's by far the harder role and takes courage. Women submissives are especially courageous to submit to those who are typically larger and stronger than they are. And as I said the sexual submissives are typically not socially submissive: on the internet I'm typically approached by as many submissive women as those I seek out and respond to me.

  5. I'm sure you have more experience with it than I do, but all I know is at a few spanking parties or trying to hook up with people, I could never figure out the sub/dom persuasion without being told. I've been surprised at how many socially dominant personalities want to be spanked, how many fade into the woodwork types want to be on top, but it was totally random. The socially dominant sexual submissives may use their traits to encourage spanking situations while the socially dominant sexual dominants do the obvious. The social submissives are a harder group to read...I think most people would read them as sexual submissives but be surprised to find it's not always the case...usually only after a comfort level is reached in the bedroom.

  6. I think it's pretty clear that the larger percentage of women are submissives and the larger percentage of men are dominant, but it's a pretty loose and fluid pattern. What interests me most is that from my experience there's no way you can tell from someone's personality which role they prefer. Has anyone else noticed the huge disconnect between the sexual kink and the personality? I have to admit the whole thing baffles me.

  7. Little doubt she's an artist. I lived with one once - they tend to do stuff like this just to enjoy the feeling of moving on their own plane of existence. They'll also paint random parts of your rental house at random times with random colors. Pisses the landlord off no end.
