When I was a kid it was a rice paddy hat, popcorn with chopsticks and Sunday morning Kung-Fu flicks squatting on my bamboo bed.
For me, it was eating alpha-bits or captain crunch watching Krazy Kat & Ignatz, courageous cat & minute mouse, colonel bleep, gigantor, Eighth Man, et al!

Me fact: I love watching (and always do watch) shows with subtitles even if it's English to English. Whenever I go to the movies, I wish so badly for subtitles.
I like subtitles too. As long as they're well timed, I find that I get more focused on the movie. It's subtitlephilia!
