  1. This thread is killing me.  I'm on a strict diet, currently eating salad without dressing for lunch, and everyone keeps naming delicious foods!  Even MZ's babies suggestion is making my mouth water!

To seriously answer: I don't think I can.  You'd get sick of anything if you ate it everyday.  But whatever it is, it isn't salad without dressing.

    hahaha

  2. This is a very tricky question, Mistress Fei! I can come up with lots of foods that I wouldn't mind eating every day, but to actually choose one for the rest of my life...

Well... it's not very earth-friendly of me, but I think I'd have to choose sushi. (Would I have to choose one particular sushi item? If so... I suppose sake maki is pretty high on the list, though if I could be really fanciful I'd go with o-toro sashimi!) Sushi is one of the few foods that seems to remind me as I am eating it to focus on tasting the food I am tasting, to pay attention to the sensations, flavors, and consistencies on my tongue and in my teeth... I find it a very sensuous and satisfying experience, not to mention delicious.

yup! i'd have to choose sushi too. or pizza.

  3. Does Mistress sweat count?

Seriously, you ask very challenging questions.

Well, as its a given that any food I choose will become, at some point, devoid of taste for me, I would choose whatever food is the most optimal in terms of ongoing health and a balanced diet.

If it WERE possible however, I would love to subsist only on what the goddesses can produce.  The idea of my life depending on them is very heady stuff!

beautiful answer- there's no right answer but if there were one, this would be it. a+

  4. Although there are many foods I prefer more, both savory and sweet, if I had to choose only one food that had something from each of the major food groups, it would be a Grimaldi's Margherita pie, well-done! That, or curly fries!

    can't go wrong with pizza!

  5. "If I could only have one food for the rest of my life? That's easy. Pez. Cherry flavor Pez. No question about it."

but in all seriousness it would probably be jamacan chicken patties

You could eat cherry flavored pez for 3 meals each day?!! (shocked emoji)

  6. I have so many questions on gender identity as it is a truly fascinating subject. Oh boy, here we go: how do you identify in terms of gender and sexual identity? With more openness to talking about lgbt issues, many categories have been named in the past couple of years. Do you think your gender identity can fit into a label? Are you decidedly one or do you think it might change someday? Do you think kink is part of your gender identity?

Here are some identities (feel free to give other answers as well)

    Heterosexual

    Heteroflexible

    Bisexual

    Homosexual

    Pansexual

    Asexual

    Demisexual

    Sapiosexual

i identify as female and heterosexual. i find it easy to appreciate the beauty of a girl and say she's hot or attractive, but that doesn't necessarily mean that i'm attracted TO her

i always wonder though, if it's just a habit that i am attracted TO men and perhaps within finding a girl attractive, I am also attracted to her

So I guess, although not on your list, I am a curiously-bicurious haha

definitely attracted to intelligence and individuals in an intellectual/spiritual way, would that make me sapio/pan?

i have heard that most dommes are bisexual!

  7. I don't, but it was very interesting when I learned my best friend did (this was 6 or 7 years ago). We'd gone drinking earlier and while waiting outside of Kenka to get in, we started checking out girls. I began noticing a bit of a pattern on his part. Wound up chatting about it over dinner and when I asked him why, he had this inexplicable reasoning of having an overwhelming desire just to "roll" one of these women. I know it sounds ludicrous and somewhat degrading, but I think this was the closet he could come to articulating the emotional-visceral feeling of that kind of attraction.

He also seemed somewhat sheepish/ashamed of this interest, though considering my own fetishes (which I would tell him about years later) it never bothered me. Granted, he's engaged to some waify chick now so I guess his fetish wasn't powerful enough.

    you're always at kenka! :)

  8.   Gore is just one way to frighten, and I think it has been relied upon too heavily (e.g. Saw). I find the suggestive ways - the unseen menace with little screen time - more compelling. As for jump scares, they are a tired trope. Most of them would not work without the sudden musical bang, and most are clumsy: because the creature was not in the camera's field of vision 0,5 s ago, we are expected to believe the victim did not see it ? Please, this is no longer 1920... It follows has a way of building fear at the right pace and in plain view; in a way the title applies to the viewer's heart rate.

On Rotten tomatoes, the critics liked it much more than the public. It looks like a film failing to find its audience.

Anyway, if Mistress Fei compels you to see it, what choice have you ?

    very good point Zantafio

  9. I actually saw it just the other day; I was the only one in group who ended up enjoying it. From my view I thought the director was trying to illustrate death and its inevitability. The loss of innocence through sexual acts and the idea that ticking clock has begun a unstoppable count down. He used a lot of old cars and TV shows, maybe to show how people will retreat to their child hood for safety and protection. Most of all I found the ending to be pretty satisfying, the surrender to fate or rather just the acceptance with a absence of fear or anticipation. The film had a lot say and in my personal opinion I thought it was rather good, but hey to each their own. The simplistic rule of art

nicely said- that's definitely one prominent metaphor in the film. i didn't think of the childhood theme, thanks for pointing that out

  10. Hmmm, I am a big wuss and don't do well with outright horror movies, but I love horror writing and--at least from what I understand--the idea of IT FOLLOWS sounds like it would've made a great short story.

I am curious though to know how the film handles what essentially seems like an STD demon.

    you'll like it, i'm positive

  11. Hi Eva Koi, just to let you know: I enjoyed every moment together with you. If there are words for you: you are gorgeous, magnificent, charming, empahetic, unique. I hope coming soon back to NYC. Take care, missing you - Frank.

    isn't she great? <3 mkoi

  12. once on an episode of CSI (the original series) Grisom visited a Dungeon and at one point in the episode he said to the Mistress .. "the submissive is the one in control"

hmmmm ... that was years ago and i still reflect on it ...

    pensive thought :)

yup, binaries, oppositions, contradictions are inherent in everything, especially something so complex as domination
