I could imagine being pushed to the point where I start rebelling again, but really can’t fathom it going any better the second time.

I feel like all of the times I’ve seen that look, it’s a sign that you are pleased with the suffering you have wrought, and that more of it is about to come. Good to know it can have less menacing connotations as well ?
