I'm usually too shy, and hope she can bring it up or read my mind, which is admittedly a terrible stance/strategy, but hard to overcome in the moment.

There’s no way my mind will function right at the beginning of a session to verbally say anything worthwhile.  A well composed email when booking is a better way for me to communicate my thoughts.

I am shy but most Mistresses are intuitive. They can see right through me. They know my darkest fantasies and wield that knowledge.

For me it’s exactly as you describe, but almost subconscious. If I don’t really believe it; if I don’t really feel like she is present and in charge, I put up little walls. I don’t even realize what happened until later. Sometimes days later. 
 

But when I sense that I’m being totally dominated, I just lose my will completely before I realize it. 
 

I wish I could describe the difference.
