To Roleplay? Or Not?

Answer honestly: why would you quit a roleplay midway into the session? Especially if you wrote a detailed plan out. I'm always disappointed when our pretend game dies early  The theatre is my favorite part ❤️

What was their reasoning for quitting the roleplay halfway?

How would you feel about an asylum roleplay? I'm wrongly committed and you know it. But it doesn't stop you taking your job as a Doctor seriously and giving me your unique brand of treatment

Probably because it sounded better when you were writing it out than it turned out to be when actually doing it. I am saying this as someone who has had "eyes bigger than stomach" moments.

I usually role play but have never quit in the middle. I don't use a detailed plan. Just an outline so my MIstress can take it where she wants to. I find that works best.

My role-plays are more like general guidelines. In my experience Mistresses dislike very detailed or unnecessarily rigid instructions and need room in which to function. Having said that, I don't recall ever discontinuing a role-play mid-session.

One of my favorite lines belongs to Mistress Jung:  a too strict role play scenario runs the risk of turning into a really bad movie (to the point of parody).
