I’m endlessly amused by the amount of submissives who don’t seem to realize this. Or are perhaps uncomfortable acknowledging it.

Confession is a necessary ritual to learn how to be honest and accept one's true self.  Ironically, I am amused that most Mistresses dont realize this.
