I answered emails and did administrative work under the name 'Anna Lau'. Quirky lady, fun company, learned a lot of what it takes to run an adult business there. This is also where I met Julie Baek, Nikki Park, Vicki Kim etc. whom you have seen featured on this site. I ended up making a lot of industry contacts for designers, photographers, website hosts that would later on come in handy. When Kiko retired I ended up with a lot of the stuff from her studio, camera lights, wardrobe (you can see some of her old stuff crop up from time to time). It all sat in storage until I had saved enough money freelancing to start my own place, and here we are now. As far as Kiko, I know she had a lot of real estate, but other than that she pulled a real vanishing act. Jessy, Looking at our Mistress Jessy kang, I can see the likeness of Kiko Wu in her, mainly her boobs. Julie has similar boobs and legs to Kiko. Kiko Wu made a clean break from adult which is good for her and her path in life, however it leaves her fans with nothing to get release from. I thank god that Jessy was able to keep the torch lit and take a stand for us. I hold Kiko in high regard and Jessy in the highest respect nearest to my Heart. At the end of the session, turning on my cell phone, I discovered a text message from a "friend" on the west coast who knew Kiko Wu and you, of course. I next discovered a voice mail from a former Mistress who text''d me during a 2006 session with you and your visiting friend, during a session with you and Vu in 2007 and again during the session with Vu. Why does all this happen withing the same narrow time frame? How mystical!! She had no way of knowing I was in the Fortress at the time she called. Another coincidence, back in September, our "friend" from the West Coast missed her flight back home and ended up spending the night at the other Lady's place in Long Island. Relying on this former Mistress to get her to the airport the next morning, she missed her flight. We know all about this lady's propensity to miss flights to California in her own right, don't we? I was pondering all this at dinner last night at a restaurant I frequent. Also that being your connection as well to some of the other ladies featured on the Fortress website. I also found your attached links extremely interesting. I always love a little bit of history as to how you eventually got to where you are now. Posts like this, as well as recently posted pictures of a couple of the lovely Fortress ladies out and about in Chinatown has given me a broader prospective on the wonderful Fortress Players who I admire so much. Hey akiravn1, I emailed Jessy and referenced Kiko Wu in that email and Jessy Finally replied saying that she'll create a new topic informing her fold of the connection between her and the lovely Kiko. In my opinion it is our Mistress Jessy Kang who kept the torch of our inner fire lit and takes a stand for us. Thanks to the love Jessy has for us, we are able to get our release in honor of Kiko and Our Jessy. Basically, she was doing her stripping, being a pornstar for her Girl/Girl porn company to support her college goals and once she reached her goal (what ever it is she wanted to do after retiring from porn) she sold her intersets in porn and whatever else she had and moved onto disappearing into thin air. First it's girl-girl, then boy-girl, then gang-bangs, then escorting etc. etc. Kiko felt that going harder while it was an easy way to keep the fans interested did not always translate into more money. So when she got into the business she decided her limits were girl-girl and toys, then never budged from that. Dunno if she is happy now, she was always driven but not all that happy a person. We're both Cantonese but I was born here and she came over when she was young, her background was much more conservative so she was always pretty conflicted. Very interesting - I was a member of KikoWu.com years ago, and I seem to recall exchanging emails with "Anna" at one point, in order to get a problem with my account squared away (thanks for the help). I was also a member of Julie's site for the short time she was actively updating content. I'm still hoping against hope she might make a return some day. Was just surfing for a background image of NY asians in NY subways for a friends non-profit event and came across one of Kiko's pictures and I realized I hadn't seen her or heard form her in years. I was still in Florida and Married. My ex and I would exchange emails with her in her early days of her site. This was before the whole China town girls site and she only charged $9 bucks for membership. She gave us free memberships even and when a friend thought about doing porn I discussed it with Kiko and got some sound advice to point the friend to (which for the same reason she left I guess) my friend didn't go into the business. She is a smart woman who knew what she wanted, how to get it, and when to walk away. You have to admire that and how she balanced the porn life and personal life.
