Jessy, You are correct in a way.  That is a Machine gun.  An M16A1 from the 1960's and 70's to be exact.  The design was changed and it was re configured to be a Semi automatic rifle (the M16A2) in order to conserve ammunition.  Besides that bit of weapons nerd info you look incredible in that photo.  Definitely a bad ass persona going on there!
