I'm surprised that someone would show up dirty or smelly. I won't judge anyone but these are basics I live by: 1. Be punctual. Not early, not late...on time. If that means arriving in the neighborhood 15 min early and taking a walk before the scheduled time, so be it. 2. Make a good first/follow-up impression. Be clean, well groomed and dressed conservatively. Don't dress-to-impressive. Being clean/conservative probably goes further, unless your street cloths somehow play into the session. 3. Be courteous but don't be afraid to say something witty, as long as it's tasteful. Light humor helps break the ice for more meaningful conversation before getting started. If you're not funny, don't try to be. Be yourself. It wouldn't hurt to give a sincere complement. If you're nervous that's normal... take a couple slow deep breaths at the front door and relax. 4. Communicate. Be thorough but concise about what you want the Mistress to know. If she wants you to expand on something, she'll let you know. If you haven't thought about what you want her to know, you're selling yourself and the experience, short. 5. Roll with it. Once it starts, let go and be in the moment. When I'm ready to settle down, I'll want to find the right neighborhood, the right house (ample separation from the neighbors), the right furniture, etc. I wouldn't want to turn it into a hard-and-cold dungeon. Instead, it would be warm, comfortable and unassuming to any guests, but definitely set up for some serious play. Some of the challenges: finding a crafty way to install a heavy duty electric hoist into the basic bedroom structure that's concealed when not in use. Maybe a couple hydraulically powered doors would open to uncover parallel I-beams with electrically powered hoists on each. Of course this would be just above the bed. All of it would operated by a remote control that looks like the remote for your TV. Underneath the throw rug at the foot of the bed: well crafted removable floor-boards that uncover D-rings embedded into a rolling track that easily allows you to adjust their position and lock them into place with a quick-release pin. The walls: extra noise dampening insulation. The stereo system: built-in. Lighting: a wide variety of lighting options that allow brightness and color to be adjusted with the same remote control. The windows: fitted with louvers like many European homes have to block 100% of the light....also operated by remote control. The walk-in closet would have a second smaller closet to easily cover up toys that you wouldn't want the maid to see....think the closet from the movie Mr & Mrs Smith. Hmm what else??? Now, imagine this being the next episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Admit it, the story line would be hilarious. Danny

The Fortress is in an elite class all it's own... I commend you for it. Recommendations for the LA trip: 1. Check out JT's Stockroom store in LA. A very nice store in downtown LA with high quality toys. http://www.stockroom...KgodFxsvDwwould 2. Dungeons: I only know of The Dominion... about 20-30 min from the LAX Hilton and easy to find. It's a nice place: clean, comfortable (looks and feels like a home), well established, a little larger than The Fortress with a variety of room themes and a friendly staff. I'm sure other places are great too. 3. Take plenty of pictures. I'd love to see a few photos of you and Mina at the beach. Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Venice Beach or Malibu. All are between 5 & 30 min from LAX. 4. Disneyland. Would love to see you and Mina put a collar on Goofy or any one of the seven dwarfs and have your way with them. Get out and see LA. My experience involved being physically overpowered. I'd rather email specifics if you're interested. It was painful but not unbearable. The whole thing gradually got more intense, making me seriously consider saying my safe word as I felt the experience pushing slightly past what I thought my limit would be.
