You rule, Manpeach! Thanks for bringing Mistress Zhao cupcakes - sounds like she really enjoyed them!
-
She ate one during our session. She told me sugar is one of her bad habits. She also said it makes her happy that we have these side conversations in addition to the forum
-
Sweet!
-
Thanks for the pat on the head, maybe next time I see you it will be a slap on the face.
-
Hi Mistress Zhao, I'm so glad you want me to come in. The holidays change my travel schedule. Hopefully, I will be worthy to make it up to you
-
Hey TW, I am amazed how similar our paths are.
-
Bradley, I have really thought the same thing. When I read your threads and comments, I am always right there with you. Thank you!
-
TW. I think Phred also has many similar experiences with Mistress Zhao.
The lucky guy has a session today. Can't wait to read about it
-
I think you are right Bradley. ……..and Phred is a lucky bastard LOL

Hey Jack. Enjoyed reading your About Me page

Also curious as to how Mistress Zhao got you to this self revelation ?
-
Hey Jack.. I believe there are a lot of us introverts out there faking it the best we can. Most importantly for me is to not feel bad about myself when I'm feeling introverted. Also, intentionally gearing myself for smaller group settings. I can't always do this but I don't have to say yes to go to every uncomfortable situation. I'm also making an effort to talk more, one on one, with strangers who also appear to be introverted.
-
During a time of self doubt, Mistress Zhao had consoled me with a quote from Miguel Angel Ruiz's "The Four Agreements". In studying these, i have been looking back through my life and analyzing the "judgements" I have made on myself. This introvert realization was a surprise sidebar to that process. Mistress Zhao is inspirational for me to be more in touch with my feelings and, maybe someday, opening up to others.

Hi Mistress Zhao. In anticipation of your upcoming birthday, I have written a poem for you. I started early to be sure it was done on time. The words came so easily and naturally I finished it sooner than expected. Now I'm anxious for you to read it. Would you like an early birthday present or do you prefer to wait?

Gentle is the breeze
brushing sweet across my face-
Tear my hat off

HA!! Bradley, you have managed to capture my essence in a few select, poignant words!! A big reward awaits you
-
:-) Thank you Mistress Zhao, I can't wait for you to read your birthday poem
-
Hi Mistress Zhao. I thought you may enjoy my new "About Me" . see you soon
-
Hi fuzzy little manpeach.
Thank you for that first paragraph, I found it to be most gratifying that my influence has created a whole new world of self-realization and actualization. I am also an introvert, and proud of it! That would be why I prefer the intimate setting of sessions as opposed to something like being a stripper (always with the sex work though!) and can totally relate to the idea that I thought I was extroverted, but am in fact the opposite. We have a lot of simil...
-
You have had a profound effect on my life, and many others I'm sure, Mistress Zhao.
And the thought of you performing as a stripper has me all up beside myself.
Thank you for sharing as well.

Hey Skeech, Did you experienced any short term AFib episodes during your recovery? The Dr said I should expect some, The last couple days i've gone into Afib in the evening and my HR has been 100 + all day

Hey Skeech, I just got hooked up to my Cardionet heart monitor. I wear this for a month before my next exam. Glad this didn't come last week. I would have given them some interesting readings for sure.
Still no Afib since T-day !
-
That is great news. Hoping for the best with the Cardionet.
-
Hey SK2, just finished the cardionet monitor. I did not have to record a single "event". My next DR appointment is March 26. I hoping the take me off the Sotolol and see how I do. I have been feeling great!

Jerry's doing a reunion Sienfeld ! and not like the Curb Your Enthusiasm kind where they played themselves. Jason Alexander will be playing George. Larry David is involved. that's all I know for now
-
Thanks for the info- I'll check it out!
-
The reunion was the Super Bowl commercial.
I'm disappointed.

Hi Mistress Zhao, I was in surgery when you posted, I was able to check my phone when I was in recovery. I dared not respond as I'm sure my spelling would have been atrocious. LOL Thanks again for being there
-
Bradley, I'm not so rigid in my policing that I wouldn't understand what it's like to have just come out of surgery! But your cautiousness paid off, because now I have to find something else to give you a hard time about
-
Thnak you Mistress Zhao, I'm srue u'll fdn sumthin else 2 gvie me a hrad tmie aboat :-)

It seems that you're provoking me on purpose. tsk tsk tsk manpeach.

Good Morning Dr Zhao. Thank you so much for seeing me last Friday and bringing me back. It was so nice seeing your face as I stepped into reality. I did miss not having our one to one time at the end. That's something i'll look forward to until next time

So, where do we go next ?
-
That's a good question. I think I'd like to continue making you cry until you bawl. Regressive therapy!
-
Whatever you say, you're the doctor!
-
Hi Mistress Zhao, i wanted to check in with you on my progress with the 4 agreements. I've spent much time reflecting on the walls I have built around me and the walls others have built around themselves. While initially, I thought the walls were destructive, some have proven to be a foundation for a greater relationship. I've tested opening up windows in some walls, but, by the reaction of my other I believe it would become too much of a burden for them to bear as well.
-
Sometimes that is the case when opening windows, but sometimes, a little patience is needed for the adjustment. Especially if opening those windows is beneficial to your own peace of mind. So glad you've been reading this book and using its guidance for your own life!!! It makes me so happy to hear that from you, my little manpeach
-
I can't tell you enough how reading your response soothes me. My peace of mind does have to take a back seat for awhile, to see the longer term reaction to the window I've opened. Thank you for your guidance Mistress Zhao.
