It is very normal to read things this way. Quite comfortable, entirely optional, this easy, natural left to right motion. The most ordinary thing in the world. And yet you may notice that the contents of what I write begin to matter less than the delicious continuation of that movement, engaging both sides of your brain, both sides of your body, over and over.

Take whatever time feels right. Some lines will want to be lingered on a little longer. That is exactly as it should be.

You might find yourself settling as you read… the body does that naturally when something has your attention. There is no need to rush toward anything. Ropes and chains are props that assist those who still believe they are free without them.

You may even begin to notice a certain pleasure and pull in the awareness that these are my words entering you this way, left to right and right to left, again and again, without you ever having to decide to let them in.
