If you’re looking for gloss and want a solid homegrown product from the same city as the Fortress, you will find no better tights than Lechery (~$25 a pair) 2. https://www.lesbelles.co - Les Belles - a Parisian founder, making Italian tights, in the heart of Brooklyn… how’s that for a melting pot? They sell a wide variety of tights but the bit that I think makes them unique is their commitment to the seamless style of tights (no seam down the middle). They do sell seamed patterned tights (eg: fishnets) but their seamless products put others to shame imo ($20-$30) 3. https://www.yourthreads.co/ - Threads - Canadian financial professional who quit her job at a big bank after getting frustrated with how hard it was to find a good pair of pantyhose (and realizing the potential demand). Their pantyhose are made in Italy and the founder is a big believer in the classic ankle and foot shaped pantyhose (as opposed to the tube fit pantyhose generally sold today). Where I think they shine most are in their contour nudes. These are 20D hose, and the shades really blend in. Perfect for the summer months. They also deserve an honorable mention for their TFM pantyhose that are constructed with the male anatomy in mind (they have a fly) and their opaque contour tights that has won an award ($20-$30… although their TFM’s are pricier at $44) 4. https://sheertex.com - Sheertex - another Canadian small business that grew into a phenomenon. Their emphasis on unbreakable tights spawned a bunch of imitators (the “pineapple test” was originally one of their ads). While they underwent some drama in leadership that resulted in the founder being forced to leave, and have had to scale back the scope of their offerings, their product is still solid for anyone looking for tights that are extremely resilient to tears. Beware though… the unbreakability doesn’t necessarily extend to the seams at the gusset… but still the most resilient pair of tights you will find in the market today ($50… unless you go with the “mystery” pairs… which can at times go as low as $20) 5. https://memoi.com - MeMoi - this brand has far more than just tights, but I think they make some of the best and most unique sweater tights out there. Whether traditional colors, time-tested patterns (ribbed, argyle etc) or unique patterns, their sweater tights are warm, resilient and a good price ($20-$30… but some sales have them at or below $15)

*LONG POST* As I fly over the Pacific bound (pun intended) for China, I have had time to finally ponder on the wondrous week that just transpired. For the second year in a row, I decided to gift myself the birthday present of an extended session at the Fortress. I wanted to continue my explorations with Mistress Lovely… eager to see more of the vast blue oceans beyond the old gates of my prior (now nonexistent) limits. As with all my sessions with Mistress, this one was unique… but unlike others before… this was unique long before I even stepped through the doors to the Fortress. After my prior session with Mistress Lovely, I was given two assignments… one was something I had to do nearly every day leading into my session (2 months!) and the other was to make sure my body was prepped a certain way going into the session. Ironically… it was the longer assignment I completed with no trouble (although I still don’t know if it was done to Mistress’ satisfaction 🤔)… but I failed the second despite my best efforts… And so it was with this backdrop that our session commenced. We explored ushering me into an altered state through trance… and it was definitely an ocean not previously travelled. I’ve entered into an altered state once before through hypnosis, but this was a different experience entirely. While the physical room did not change, the scene of our session shifted based on Mistress’ will. Within the shifting environment, it was hard to distinguish whether my bonds were mental or physical through superb rope work. I can say that the positions I was bound in were unique, creating predicament within the bondage that was equally emotionally sensational and (physically) frustrating. And of course Mistress did not forget my failure in completing one of my assignments… I felt the discipline… but it was certainly deserved I became a vessel solely for Mistress to use, and my body relished every moment. To serve her became the reward in and of itself. To be used for her every whim became the goal I strove for. But perhaps the best highlight was the surprise visit by Mistress Shang and Mistress Tang. They dropped by to briefly say hello as only two Dommes can. The 3 of them towering together over my tightly bound form as my vision was restored is an image that I will not soon forget (though it took me a little bit to actually remember that happened after the session!) This was a session like no other… Mistress Lovely once again created an elaborate scene that was an exploration into the dark open ocean… and with the torch she expertly wielded, she showed me another amazing place that I would never have imagined finding before. The graciousness of the players of the Fortress was on full display as well, with both Mistress Shang and Mistress Tang choosing to spend a bit of their valuable time to meet me. It took a little bit for all the moments of that session to piece themselves back together in my mind, but it is a session I will not soon forget. I end this (long) post as I end all my reviews… Mistress Lovely continues to reach new pinnacles in the art of kink and bdsm. It’s a privilege to be her sub, and while I was not given an assignment this time around, I cannot help but count down in anticipation to Lockto… err… October.

Indeed there is nothing that needs to be said under the auspices of this arcana, which arguably applies to all who seek the Fortress. The masterful way the players of this sanctuary wield the Devil's torch lights the way for a sub to reveal their hidden desires and consciousness to be brought to the fore.

There was much food for thought here Mistress… thank you. The original Marseille view places a focus on the human as the vessel of authority granted out of social constructs… much like the voluntary power construct between Domme and Sub. Yet the arcana inverted implies a rejection of authority in the traditional societal sense and even a choice to shift to the unconventional…. The Domme / Sub dynamic has been around for ages despite societal norms relegating it to the shadows… so one can argue it is both a traditional human construct of power and authority… and yet still unconventional by societal norms… a “not yes”… but a “not no”… thank you Mistress for such an engaging exercise 🧎🏻🙇🏻
