For an American film, it had all the elements of drama, action, and moral wrapped up neatly in a happy ending. I saw it in 3D IMAX and sat on the edge of my seat the entire time, head craned up, jaw dropped. Quote

deanroberts Posted December 31, 2009 Author Report Posted December 31, 2009 wolfy: not sure what you are asking. my point was that the logo font of this forum is the same used in AVATAR. mistress zhao: glad you also liked it. i know it isn't the most original or well written story. i do have problems with it. bad dialogue. utterly predictable. another example of White Man saves the day. but the sum is greater than the parts. definitely jaw dropping visuals. plus, its hard not to crush on Neytiri. mistress jung: absolutely saw it in IMAX 3D, only, in a smaller IMAX screen in Elizabeth, NJ. the NY shows were sold out for days. def want to see it at the lincoln which is the larger IMAX screen. if you see it, IMAX 3D is the only way to go. However the story line, kinda cheese ball (in that it was very A-->B Hollywood gimmicky) but was every gamer's wet dream. I'm only sad that real avatars will never happen in my life time.... I want weird tendril braids that let me communicate with nature. lol Also, how hot is Zoe Saldana? First in Star Trek, now in Avatar, shes my new geek powered goddess. lol Quote
