MMA is a much more humane sport than Boxing. MMA fighters are also (generally) very humble. MMA fights allow the fighters to tap out. Boxing requires the fighters to keep going until one of them is basically unconscious from being punched in the face. What about other sports like Football? There is "violence" in Football, Soccer, Ice Hockey...which is for the most part unsanctioned.

Definitely their objectification, being put on display and "quality-checked". I like seeing their personalities in their short lived moment of bravado because there's only one winner. Most of them wear more than one shirt to the weigh-ins, sometimes even more than one pair of pants/shorts. It's probably just an advertising ploy, but I still love how they always deliberately take off one layer at a time, even when it's obvious it'd be easier to take them all off at once.

My newest fad is watching fight weigh-ins. I LOVE watching MMA weigh-ins, Boxing (weigh-ins) are OK too. I love how they get super leaned out for the weigh in and then swell back up for the fight ;-) Yummmmz... "The Little Man In The Fortress Cage: Who Is He?" I don't know who he is but he is very quiet. He obediently stays completely still even though he's not bound. Before the gag was permanently affixed to his smooth skin, he had a big shiny white smile. Recently I took him out to play and trussed him up Shibari style before confining him to his position by the edge of the cage again. I don't know if he has a family or if loved ones are looking for him. One morning I think I found evidence of a rescue attempt. The cage was no longer hanging, instead it sat on the floor with the door partially open! But our little Fortress man was still inside standing quietly, clinging on to the bars of the cage. Maybe it wasn't a botched escape, or maybe he has resigned to his life as the Fortress' captured plaything. It's been eight years since I covered up that toothy grin on his shiny face with a single strip of black leather.
