Believable films- My Left Foot with Daniel Day Lewis is pretty amazing. He's completely dedicated. I once heard he bleached his eyes to play hide and seek with his kid LOL I'm SERIOUS. Great scene (Eileen is his speech therapist):

I've heard that said about Fargo, and I liked it as a movie but it didn't wow me like the others I've listed. What did you like about Fargo so much? I was considering seeing Whiplash while its still in theaters, I like the experience ;-) btw, the movie title always reminds me of YOU WHIPLASH!!!!

Inherent Vice is hilarious!!!! Please look for the scene when they're riding in the cop car together and he's eating a popsicle. Can you guess which part of that scene had me laughing louder than anyone in the theater LOL

Christiane F. was a great movie. I like to watch everything with captions but I wish I understood German in case I missed any nuances. Tongs is also an all time favorite. It's impossible to find online! Watched it when I was in the 8th grade and everyone I knew was a psuedo gangster LOL Tongs clip: Kids is another movie I really liked. I saw it when it came out, I similar in age to the characters and they too were in NYC so it was very relevant to me, plus I LOVE skaters.
