  1. "I certainly hope I see you soon, spankbri. I can show you what happens in that episode " You realize you have me at a terrible disadvantage here (nothing new, huh?) since the second season is not out on netflix. Do I get to keep all my appendages? Do my intestines maintain their integrity? Are dental instruments used?!! I hope you appreciate how much I must love you to still come in for this....
  2. Let's admit that's not on my list of allowable play. I guess I can stumble through the rest of my life without your superpower hypnotic powers. *sigh*
  3. Oh, with regards to the writer's blog post: you'll have to scroll down about half a page - the first entry is not relevant.
  4. Lawrence Welk is the original version of TV Sado-masochism.... BTW, if you have been dealing with the books, you may remember the long wait as GRR Martin composed Dance with Dragons. Readers of his blog grew incensed every time he posted about a vacation rather than progress on the book. If you haven't seen this response by a fellow writer defending him, it's a classic: http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2009/05/entitlement-issues.html
  5. You mistresses should know better than to travel without an entourage!
  6. On another thread somebody posted about the room-spinning sensation he'd always get after a session with you. You gave it to me too. Sometime I'd like you to explain to me how you do that: figure it might come in useful sometime.
  7. I just noticed the subtitle of this thread is Sadism on Television. Umm, you're too young to remember it, but I think the original version was Lawrence Welk. (was gonna say Gilligan's Island - funnier - but everybody LOVES that show, even if it looks stupid now.)
  8. Here's the old food thread to make it easier: http://www.fortressnyc.com/forum/topic/2692-food/
  9. the hell's a fishie? Oh, you must be talking astrology - I know too much about the stars to trust them. No babe, I'm 10 days older than you (and a few years). Have you checked out the recipe thread I revived for you a month ago?
  10. Hey, glad to have you back on the forum! Not that I've been on long, but I gather you last posted about a year ago. By specific intent I don't get cable, but I have started watching it on Netflix. I was worried because I like the books and was afraid they would mess them up. But they've done an outstanding job. I haven't reached season 2 yet, but I know from the books the most shocking thing was what happened to Arya. That little actress is a beautiful bit of casting which will make her storyline that much more heartbreaking. Martin (the author) has no scruples about creating characters you fall in love with, then doing the most wretched things to them. So I don't know what that episode was you are referring to, but I'll find out. Hmmm....may be seeing you soon. ;-)
  11. Tactical revenge can be useful, as when people expect it they are less likely to take advantage of you. But it should only be used judiciously and cleverly. Though this example was clever, It didn't fit the crime...if dumping someone can actually be described as a crime. She would have done better to have 'accidentally' run into the new couple and dropped a comment along the lines of 'glad you got him, I'm dying to see if he treats you as bad as he did me'. That's revenge enough.
  12. College, living in a group house with a young woman who had clearly never lived with men before. She was NOT small. Fell in though. Hard to look contrite when you're laughing.
  13. A whisper in the ear will melt me every time. Which is an interesting contrast to the hardness it also engenders.
  14. A lady who insists on the toilet seat being left down is trying. I mean, where's the joy in life if you can't be awakened at 3 am as she gets out of bed and wanders through the dark, while you're waiting on tenterhooks to hear the splash when she falls in?
  15. If she has a sense of entitlement because she really is complex, can tell which side of the Loire valley a wine came from by the minerality, will take on El Capitan on a dare, can hold up her end of a fascinating conversation and needs a man who can keep up with her so she won't be bored by him...then yes, there is something to such a women. But I wouldn't call her a high maintenance lady. If she has a sense of entitlement just because for some odd reason she thinks she deserves to live a six figure life style and be pampered, she can go hang. Unfortunately I don't know which type of women the men who prefer a "high maintenance" lady think they are talking about.
  16. Phew, I thought it was just me. There's witchcraft in her, that's for sure.
  17. Candids are always good. It's actually the candids of Mistress Choi that finally convinced me to come in: all the mistresses are totally lovable in the candids, which makes a huge difference.
  18. If these will be posted in a very easy to find place it's probably best to keep the males out of it. Newbies might subliminally feel they may end up in one and could have privacy worries. The less obvious places (like the forum with no direct link to the main page) with clearly labelled 'stunt subs' of course are fine. Some Mistresses have smaller galleries than the others: should to be filled out with a mix. And let's just admit it: everyone wants to see a nicely positioned bare ass shot...if the Mistresses are comfortable with it. Not all of them have them just yet. I tend to gravitate towards those who do. :-)
  19. there are two types of high maintenance ladies. The first type actually needs things to be done for her because she's socially helpless without being looked after. The second type is deliberately high maintenance only because she enjoys making the man work for her. The first one is a pure pain in the ass, the second one actually needs a little push back to keep from becoming bored - and is therefore more interesting. Easy to see which category the Fortress ladies fall into...but only by choice. I doubt any of them are ever high maintenance except for the fun of it.
  20. Everyone will be different. As a dom I tend to alternate the pain with soothing caresses and affection. I cannot imagine being a dom to someone I don't feel respect and affection for: far too close to abuse, something we guys should feel incapable of. Fortunately the Fortress ladies immediately inspire both affection and respect. Most women do in fact have submissive fantasies. Usually they envision it in the context of someone who loves them, so it you spank them in the proper context you don't have to feel guilt. Though I enjoy having the lady as a sub far more than being a submissive myself, I recognize that the current Fortress ladies are primarily Dom, even if they agree to switch. For that reason I think I will always do matched switching sessions, so as not to crowd out their true nature.
  21. Yes, some of them do switch. it's in their player descriptions. I've only had one session, and the remarkable Mistress Choi was both top and sub for me in alternate hours. You may not get as 'deep' an experience because you don't totally sink into one role or the other, but I think the balanced power exchange perhaps leads to a unique bonding. As a newbie I'm not so much one to talk, others can address better perhaps. but it does answer the question.
  22. I actually came for my first session in part to celebrate my birthday, but not only did I neglect to mention it (maybe a good thing), I neglected to realize it was close to her birthday as well! Belated Birthday, you Beauty!
  23. I actually like the extremely sweet vanilla videos Ree posts on the public forum. To see the two sides of her brings home that this is a game we play: we enter in agreeing to the alternate universe we create, it belongs to us.
