I’ve seen quite a few of these—Babygirl, Belle de Jour, The Bitter Tears…, Crash, The Duke of Burgundy (aka “Dommes Have Feelings Too!”), The Handmaiden, The Piano Teacher, Secretary, Shortbus, Tie Me Up!…, and Pillion, which just came out. Sigh. My appetites are so obvious, lol.

omgggg Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down is so underrated to me. That’s exactly how I’d expect to be swept off my feet 🫠

  I'm not that into movies in general but I've recently watched 'Baby Girl'..  it was okay and I stayed with it to the end, but I'm not interested in male domination, as i suspect most of these are. 

  It would great if someone could edit this list down to FemDom only.

Thanks for sharing the list. I've seen a few. Belle du Jour is a classic, very French (Paris in the '60's), kinda surreal. Secretary is hot, not female-dominant, but great chemistry between James Spader and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Tie Me Up! Time Me Down! is erotic, funny, and playful with a young Antonio Bandaras. To go full circle, Bandaras plays Nicole Kidman's cuckolded husband in Baby Girl (2024) in another movie with dom/sub themes.

There's also a good streaming series with many female-led BDSM scenes called Dying for Sex.
Only issue is that is gets pretty emotionally heavy towards the end - a woman is going thru her "sexual bucket list" while battling illness.

Stars Michele Williams with Jenny Slate as her best friend. Also takes place in NYC which is cool. If curious, here's a good review:

Anyone see Sanctuary on Hulu?  A bit silly but worth a watch.  Their interaction is highly scripted by the sub which seems to me he’s no longer the sub.

I just watched it, and I’m not sure we saw the same movie.

Rebecca maintained her composure even when she was in danger. She knows how to play her game, and it’s clear she won every time, as Hal slipped back into subspace.

Hal lacked control in every aspect of his life. Not because he couldn’t have it, but because he didn’t truly want it. He believed he should fight for normality, yet once he confronted his core self, there was only one clear path: giving everything to her.

So glad you liked them! Okay, here's another one. Just watched it. And it's a BDSM-themed Rom-Com. Whhhhat??! 😲

Love and Leashes. A Korean BDSM Rom-Com. Yes. It's funny, and the lead actors are young, attractive, and have good chemistry.

It's a great 'stealth' movie to share with someone you're dating to see what they think. A litmus test to see how they react.

Assuming some of the Mistresses here 'firewall' their personal and professional lives and are dating....it's a good movie to show a prospective partner.

Netflix-and-Chill: "Hey, check out this movie....it's a Rom-Com I've heard about..." Movie ends. "So, what did you think?"

• Bad response: "Uhh, that was really weird. I don't get it." [okay, bye-bye]
• Good response: "Wow. That was really hot. I'm curious..." [passes the test]

It might also be a good 'intro' video for someone getting into the scene. The female lead (who already has a bossy personality) learns on-the-fly how to be a domme for the first time.  To appreciate the acting, watch the original Korean audio with English subtitles. Unless you speak Korean. Here's the trailer...

I just finished watching it. I liked it- seemed like a BDSM love story to me. Definitely written by a male sub, or one who has at least some interest in kink.

I wonder if she would have turned to blackmail if he didn't cut things off. She seemed to really be in love with him.

I’ve watched Dogs Don’t Wear Pants and I’ve also watched one that isn’t listed there called R100. I’ve watched R100 twice and it’s still utterly confusing to me. I think I’m trying to view it too literally

I posted about R100 a while ago. LOVE that movie!! The opening scene is one of my favorites. Specifically the kick to the head and the window splatter.

Also, yesterday I wrote a reply referencing a Mr. Monopoly roleplay (where he gets his comeuppance from a Mistress), but it never posted.

Not sure if it violated a rule, or was just a tech glitch? It was pretty tame, not explicit.

The scenario was along the lines of him getting punished for his monopolistic ways. The greedy landlord who has been cheating the system but gets caught. Mistress has evidence that can put him away (go directly to jail?!) so she summons him to her lair for payback. He's desperate. She's in total control of what happens to him. What shall she do?? I didn't even think about the 'property' angle. Nice touch.

This could a be crowd-sourced Choose Your Own Adventure type of scenario, lol. Great suggestions here. 😀

I watched it because of the poster of a badass square jawed woman in some leather and was sitting there jaw dropped multiple times throughout the movie. I think the first viewing I was in shock and the second I tried to start to understand the plot. I need to watch it again lol

You just have to tweak the rules a bit.

 Strokes have replaced dollars as legal tender.  

Opps, you landed on Boardwalk with 4 houses.. at 5 strokes per house that'll be an additional 20 strokes and unfortunately you've chosen a cane as your marker.

The Mistress owner has a strapon for her marker and gets to choosewhat kind of strokes are given.

Haha...glad you liked the idea (I've got all sorts of roleplay scenarios in my mind). It's all collaborative. Expand and add your own spice, that makes it even more fun. 

Now, I had no idea this existed before, but I just looked up alternate Monopoly games - and a BDSM one exists already. Really? Yes.

Somebody created Kinkopoly - a game that includes a board with squares you can land on like Collar, Leash, Boots, Cross, Leather, Consent, Switch, etc.

And if you get in trouble, it's "Go To Dungeon". 😲
