  1. Ray: I may have seen Body and Soul but the one that sticks with me the most as a kid was "Somebody up There Likes Me." Dannyboy
  2. The dragon looks a little like Oscar, The Grouch.
  3. Ray: I'm sure I watched some Garfield films but they were shows that my father watched on tv. Perhaps I'll seek out a few and see if they appeal to me. David and Lisa was odd. When I first watched it in a movie theater my date, a student nurse in the psychiatric phase of her training, offered a number of insights into the pathology of the main characters. On another note, I was able to find a DVD with the film "The Collector" which I first watched on a Naval Base in Newport, Rhode Island in 1966. Dannyboy
  4. Ray: Two classic comedies. Recently watched Nevada Smith, a Steve McQueen film with a great cast. I came to realize after all this time that Janet Margolin had a role. I saw her early in her career with a role in David and Lisa and later in Take the Money and Run. Dannyboy
  5. Watched the original King Kong. Saw it in my youth and a number of times after. Fay Wray could never have been a good Mistress. Also years ago saw a remake of King Kong and didn't like it at all. Dannyboy
  6. Jerry: Just a wild guess: Law and Order, Special Victims Unit - There was an episode called "Stocks and Bondage" in 1999. Dannyboy
  7. Happy 2021 to all. I am not one who makes New Year's resolutions. Rather, I would seek to reevaluate my life frequently throughout the year as needed. I can't turn back the hands of time but if I could have my essence transmogrified into a young, fit body while retaining all of my knowledge, intellect and kinky proclivities I would need no resolutions. Perhaps I would resolve to make connections with Mistresses sooner in life and make it clear to any vanilla partner that this part of my life cannot be eliminated. Dannyboy
  8. Watched "Dances with Wolves" for the second time in my life. Forgot so much of it over time and learned so much more this time about the Lakota Sioux. Billy Mills was half Lakota and half white and won the 10,000 meters in the 1964 Olympics. His story was portrayed in the film "Running Brave." Graham Greene played significant roles in both. 9. I understand. As long as there are members of an older generation you will be a child to those members and benefit from the tradition. Dannyboy
  10. I thought the children got New Year's money and the adults gave it. Dannyboy
  11. From 2nd Ave Deli I will get hot pastrami fried rice, General Tso's kosher chicken and matzo ball egg-drop soup. I've dined there on a few occasions with a Mistress and once with my Latina lovely. Enjoy yourselves no matter what you are eating today. Peace and good health to all. Dannyboy
  12. Dear Ms. Kang: I have an obligatory small gathering to be part of. Will eat good food and tolerate the insipid conversation while looking forward to the weekend. Will see you know who over the weekend and expect a "surprise" from her. I hope she doesn't get her pubes waxed and I think those businesses might be locked down. That would be a negative surprise. Maybe she'll propose to me on condition that I hit the Powerball or Mega Millions. If I hit a huge jackpot I just might propose to someone else and keep the other one as my "goomah." Dannyboy
  13. Slave D: I salute you for weighing in for the geriatric set. Being a grumpy old bastard at this point my best days are memories now. Las Vegas is giving odds on whether I'll make it to my next birthday which, technically, will arrive in less than 24 hours. You have something special. in my mid thirties after a divorce I had a relationship with someone who was over ten years younger. She was a sexual behemoth but was horrible in most other aspects of a relationship. If I had a chance to to it over I would have chosen her over instant death, aids or cancer. Other than that there is no way I would have gone down the same path twice. My current "partner" has been around for over 6 years and we are now at the "Fatal Attraction" or "Play Misty for Me" level of unlikely relationships. I guess I stopped fighting it. Enjoy what you have. Dannyboy
  14. I wouldn't be caught dead on a toilet seat with that kind of reading material.
  15. Watched "Clerks." I didn't watch it when it came out but a particular Mistress advised me to watch it about 15 years ago. Today I laughed so hard that my mind drifted back to the time when I first watched it. The Mistress left the scene years ago and we are periodically in touch. She has found her dream and lives it to this day. I have no regrets. Dannyboy
  16. CO: Thank you for clearing that up for me. I am still unfamiliar with pre-social media language and highly influenced by the quality public education I received in my generation. I am too old to change. She sounds highly desirable. I have a great level of comfort with highly educated or highly intelligent women. My first wife had a voice that could shatter glass and she didn't reveal that before the marriage vows. My young lady has those 3 qualities but lacks the high intellect of my Filipina Princess whose path in life doesn't include me in the long run. I should be happy with my exotically beautiful barbie doll and enjoy what little I have in common with the Filipina who will be successful in all aspects of her life without me. Dannyboy
  17. Forgive my ignorance - what is "AF?" Dannyboy
  18. Ray: The kids have been watching Christmas movies but I have been avoiding them. I traditionally watch "A Christmas Story" starring Darren McGavin and hope my grandson doesn't let anyone double dog dare him to put his tongue on a lamp post in sub freezing weather. I will watch The Day the Earth Stood Still before next week. I was discussing with my young lady about my wish to watch "Play Misty for Me" with her. It seems to have several "knife" scenes in the Psycho mode and could also be seen as a prequel to "Fatal Attraction" which she has not seen. She thought "The Godfather" was excessively violent. My response: It was done tastefully except for maybe the strangulation of Luca Brasi, the shootings of Sollazo and McClusky, the machine gunning of Santino Corleone, the garroting of Carlo Rizzi by Clemenza and Moe Green getting shot through the eye while on a massage table. Except for those instances and a few killings during the baptism and, oh I forgot, the severed horse head in Woltz's bed it had relatively little violence. Still, despite my ernest efforts to convince her otherwise she held on to her opinion stubbornly. Watched the original "Mutiny on the Bounty" with Charles Laughton and Clark Gable. Excellent. Dannyboy
  19. I just had to watch Psycho again. It was not so difficult to watch as it was in the early 60's. It has been surpassed in horror and gore by many other films that came later in time but it always remain as a great Hitchcock thriller. Dannyboy
  20. Perhaps the nature of our play can be confusing. When we are together our roles are interchangeable. When we are with a Mistress she does not submit to the Mistress but the 2 of them unite against me. In our vanilla life together she defers to me in most things. When I push her beyond a comfort level by behaving in a rude and crude manner she can dig in her heels and counter-attack. Dannyboy
  21. While my young lady and I have played with BDSM together privately and with Mistresses in Dungeons it is clearly not a female-led relationship. Dannyboy
  22. "Play Misty for Me.' Felt like Psycho times 3. Haven't seen this one in many years. I tend to get involved with that kind of woman. Dannyboy
  23. Watched "Midnight Cowboy" with Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voight. Seems more strange than before. Dannyboy
