  1. Watched "Flower Drum Song" for the first time ever. Interesting fact: Nancy Kwan visited my ship when it was at anchor in Europe. I didn't see her when she visited as I was on liberty doing what sailors do in a foreign port. I also saw Jack Soo in this film play in a role other than Detective Nick Yamana for the first time. He was a regular in Barney Miller until he passed away. Dannyboy
  2. Revival of a nice topic by Ms. Tran. Posts by Ms. Koi and Rey. I sessioned with all three of them. Manpeach was a regular for years. Had maybe 15 sessions with Koi who helped fill the void created by the departure of Mina Jung back then. Dannyboy
  3. Saturday afternoon me and my young lady were on the corner of 5th Ave and 34th Street when a celebration parade crossed the intersection going south. Everyone was happy. There were also people in wheelchairs, walkers and canes in the parade. We needed to cross to the other side but she was apprehensive. Anyway I implored her to trust me and, lo and behold, like Moses parting the Red Sea a path opened up for us to get to the other side. Between the two of us we were young, old, black-Latina-native American and white. There was a feeling of emancipation all around. Dannyboy
  4. The advice I always give is to make that call and take that step. You will never regret it. You will find out on your own that the last push to your knees is unnecessary. When you are confronted by the beauty of a Fortress Mistress your knees will buckle by themselves. Dannyboy
  5. Watched "Shop of Fools" and marveled at the messages that I couldn't grasp the first time in the 60's. Dannyboy
  6. Viewed "No Way Out" from 1950 with Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier. Widmark was the bad guy. Dannyboy
  7. There certainly is. Dannyboy
  8. Finally watched "Rififi" from start to finish without interruption. I was very young when I watched it for the first time and was upset by all the violence. It was in French with English sub-titles. It seems that there was a scene of interest to S & M fans. The ex-con comes out of prison and finds that his lady was running around with another thug. He makes her remove all her clothing and whips her with a belt. Of course she was out of camera range when her panties and bra came off and only the sound effects could be heard. All those years ago it upset me. Now it upset me that the whiipping wasn't visible and not half as many lashes as I would have given her. Dannyboy
  9. Watched "Fail Safe" which is a more serious version of "Dr. Strangelove. It reminded me of the tensions of the cold war. Dannyboy
  10. Dear Ms. Jung: Knowing how evil I am your pardon is an act of mercy. Dannyboy
  11. Congrats on your great session. I don't consider Ms. Jung to be evil. She is my Angel of Mercy who can be Devilish. I don't know about Ms. Lovelace but perhaps someday I will find out. As I always say, the Fortress is the best place for newbies but you won't know that unless you dare to venture outside of the Fortress. Then you will know for sure. You will always be in good hands at the Fortress though. Dannyboy
  12. The mere mention of her name is enough to cause a yearning in my heart. Excellent choice. Dannyboy
  13. The Fortress is the best place for a first session. Nerves are par for the course but the Mistress will guide you with care and understanding. Be open and honest about your needs and fantasies. You won't regret it. Dannyboy
  14. "A Hard Day's Night." Missed it in 1964. I can't hit the notes anymore but I still remember the lyrics of all their songs. Dannyboy
  15. I came home from overseas to find out that Woodstock took place. I knew some girls who attended. I didn't end up marrying any of them. Dannyboy
  16. That was Ravi Shankar or was it Rabbi Chancre? Hendrix sang "Wild Thing" and set his guitar of fire and smashed it to bits. The Who sang "My Generation." Dannyboy
  17. Watched "Monterey Pop" for the first time in a couple of years. Watched it in 1968 when it was released. So many of the performers are now deceased including Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Mama Cass. Seems like ancient history. Dannyboy
  18. Ms. Kang made the 2 hour session a standard in the industry. I'm sure you'll be hooked on the concept in the future. This review is so similar to many of the other reviews from first timers. Glad you took that first step. Dannyboy
  19. Watched "Zulu" for the first time in a long time. One of Michael Caine's earliest roles. Dannyboy
  20. Being away from dungeon situations the absence has intensified the various submissive fantasies in my mind. No doubt my physical abilities to endure have been diminished and I'm sure I would have to approach them gradually when I am ultimately able to return. Dannyboy
  21. I don't know if the Fortress has opened for newbies at this point. If yes, just do it. The Mistresses know exactly how to welcome someone new and I guarantee you'll survive to come back for the next one. Dannyboy
  22. Watched Marathon Man once again after a very long time. It seemed more intense and convoluted this time. Then as a booster I rewatched Fargo. I guess I need a build-up to Silence of the Lambs. Dannyboy
